Coconut
Did you know that coconut is one of the few plant foods containing a significant amount of saturated fat? 76% of the calories in coconut come from saturated fat, the type of fat known to clog arteries and raise blood cholesterol. In addition, coconut is high in calories, about 100 calories per ounce. Experts recommend consuming coconut in moderation and balancing it with low-fat food choices such as fruit, lean fish and grains.
