The Seretean Wellness Center at Oklahoma State University administers several state and federally funded programs to serve the needs of Oklahomans and the public at large.
Oklahoma ABLE Tech
US Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration
The Wellness Center is charged with administering a grant that supports state efforts to improve the provision of assistive technology (AT) to individuals with disabilities of all ages through comprehensive, statewide programs that are consumer responsive. The purpose of Oklahoma ABLE Tech is to make assistive technology devices and services more available and accessible to individuals with disabilities and their families. ABLE Tech accomplishes this purpose by providing AT through a short term equipment loan program, AT demonstration centers, re-utilization of AT through the Oklahoma Equipment Connection and low interest bank loans for AT. In addition, ABLE Tech provides information and referral services, training on various AT topics and collaborates with state agencies and organizations to enhance the understanding and access to AT. ABLE Tech is funded under the Assistive Technology Act of 1998, as amended by the U.S. Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration.
Residential Care Program
Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services
The Wellness Center conducts a certification program for directors and professionals working in state supported residential care facilities. Two state wide conferences are conducted each year in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

Institute for Dispute Resolution and Oklahoma Agricultural Mediation Program
United States Department of Agriculture and the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture
The Institute for Dispute Resolution at Oklahoma State University provides mediation, facilitation and conflict resolution services statewide. IDR offers basic and advanced ADR-related training to ADR professionals and various state entities. IDR is proud to manage the USDA certified mediation program for the state, Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation Program (OAMP). OAMP services are available to all rural Oklahomans without charge. Mediation is an effective way to resolve disputes in many different areas.
Oklahoma Rehabilitation Council
Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services
This grant provides administrative support for the federally mandated consumer council which is a significant resource for and partner with the Department of Rehabilitation Services. The Council is mandated to review, analyze, and advise the agency regarding its performance as it relates to consumer services. The Council also advises and assists in the development of the State Plan for services, and identifies and jointly develops and reviews the agency’s goals and priorities.

The Special Education Resolution Center (SERC) program is the result of a contract between the Oklahoma State University Seretean Wellness Center and the Oklahoma State Department of Education for the purpose of managing the special education due process hearing system for the State of Oklahoma
Oklahoma AgrAbility
USDA Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service
The Oklahoma AgrAbility Project provides education, assistance and support to farmers, ranchers and their families who have a disability or debilitating injury that limits their ability to perform essential farm tasks.
The Health Training Center
Oklahoma Department of Human Services
The Wellness Center maintains an office in Tulsa to support the training of para-professionals and professionals
that are employed in community settings to support persons with developmental disabilities and receiving funding
from the Developmental Disabilities Services Division of the State Department of Human Services.
